No, because they should be working for us, not us working for them...which seems to be the way things have been heading for a long time now, and even more so today. I would, however, trust a federal government that followed the true ways that the founding fathers intended. Greed, corruption, and socialistic ideals by individuals in our government have ruined any respect that the government could have once deserved.
